My 50 plus years of experience in broadcast television program production, commercial advertising/marketing, and corporate communications provides me with knowledge in designing and producing media for all audiences or subject matter, whether marketing, technical training, syndicated television shows, music videos, documentaries, and Web design.
I began my television broadcast profession in high school in 1959. During my college days at the University of Texas Austin, I worked my way up to director at KTBC (owned by Lady Bird Johnson). Beginning in 1965, I moved to Houston as a director at KPRC-TV, then Channel 26, then Channel 39.
Since then, I produced my way through the advertising agency world and early syndicated television during the 70s, and the corporate communications world during the 80s, working with Fortune 500 CEOs as well as managers, technical experts, and company employees. Then, in the 90s, I independently produced corporate video for business-to-business marketing, as well as internal employee training.
I not only know my way around the back-side of the camera or stage. I understand the changing paradigm of business culture that requires global thinking, innovative management, employee collaboration, and, of course, customer centered communications. The priorities are Message, Media, and Management.
