Human passion for knowledge is basic survival instinct. The purpose of all knowledge is to somehow predict the next moment or the distant Future to determine whether it will be life supporting or life threatening. We may define the emotion of that instinct as fear or hope, or elevate it to the level of divine vision, or as divine revelation. How we reflect upon our experience defines our Gestalt—the rhythm of our breath, the heights of our aspirations, and our value as human beings.
Wisdom requires not only knowledge of many subject areas and sources but how all things and phenomenon are connected, how they interact, how they are Whole.
Creatively responding to the challenges that face us NOW requires understanding how everything works together to form the present. Only NOW can we have the wisdom to create the vision that will surely manifest the Future.
The Web is the greatest collection of human knowledge that is now or has ever existed. Let's study what our predecessors have preserved, add our contributions, and connect the dots so that we as humans may become wise.
