In 1999, recognizing the need to broaden its reach while keeping a firm link to its core values, the ITVA Foundation became The Webb Foundation. The new name was undertaken in honor of one of the profession's most selfless and dedicated volunteers, Charles T. Webb.
Chuck Webb, who is no longer with us, embodied the highest standards of professionalism, volunteerism, mentoring, education, collaboration and advancement of our profession. His legacy was one of unflagging devotion and countless hours dedicated to the professional and personal development of people in our industry without any thought of his own personal or professional gain.
Today, in the tradition of Chuck Webb, The Webb Foundation retains its original character as a volunteer-led organization, but has expanded its mission, trustees, constituencies, and partners. Our vision is to be the premiere worldwide organization dedicated to enhancing the image, stature, and quality of electronic communications.
