Joe Maiella is a veteran of over 20 years in the visual communications profession. He began as a writer/producer and director with the Bethleham Steel Corporation. In 1982 Joe moved to New England Life as Director of TV and later, Assistant VP, Corporate Communications. While there Joe initiated, developed and managed a BTV network for the company's sales offices, which is still in use today. Joe left TNE after 13 years to join Convergent Media, where he built and led the Business Development team at the company's Boston Media Center. Today, Joe is Senior VP, Marketing & Sales for CrewStar, a production crew payroll, search and booking service in Boston.

Jon Blankley is a veteran of over 800 corporate and commercial television programs. His range includes marketing, corporate communications, advertising, training & development, interactive video, sports, and public affairs. Jon is an active producer, writer, director, cameraman, and editor. Besides running a corporate media services department for MTA Metro North Railroad, Jon founded Jon Galt Productions, his independent production entity in 1978. In addition to production and consultation, Jon has acted as a packager of scripts, talent and creative personnel for presentation to television and theatrical producers and studios. Active in a number of professional organizations, Jon is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, where he has served as a local and national EMMY Awards judge. Within the International Television Association (now MCA-I) Jon served nationally and locally, including three years on the national board of directors as treasurer.
David H. Ostroff, Ph.D., University of Florida, Gainesville, FL (Secretary)
David is Professor of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida, and Chair of the Department of Telecommunications. He is the author of two books and more than 50 articles in the academic and trade press. He has conducted research on corporate communication in the European Union, and lectured at universities in Belgium and The Netherlands. In addition to his academic experience, he has worked full and part-time in corporate communications and marketing for more than twelve years.
Len Magsamen, USAA, San Antonio, TX (Immediate Past President)
Len is a 30-year corporate communication veteran. He began his video career in the health care industry in 1971, and then joined GEICO Insurance in 1977 as media manager. In 1981 he joined GTE and held positions of AV manager, director of creative media services, director of operations and director of new media technologies. In 1998 he joined The Home Depot as their director of visual communication, and in January 2002 he joined USAA where he currently is Assistant Vice President, Video and Technical Services. A long time member of ITVA, he served in numerous national and regional positions, including national president. He is an active member of the Communications Media Management Association, United States Distance Learning Association, and Media Communications Association International. A graduate of the University of Miami, he also has served on the faculty advisory boards at the University of Florida School of Telecommunication and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Warren T. Harmon, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN
Warren is currently the Mayo Clinic's Head of Section, Video, AV and Photography. Prior to that he developed the advertising and corporate photography operation at Target Corporation with emphasis on digital imaging for print advertising and e-commerce. For the Minneapolis Area United Way, Warren spearheaded the production of a television special on volunteerism called, "A Spirit of Caring: Volunteering Minnesota Style." The production aired on all five major Twin Cities local TV stations in 1992 to kick off National Volunteer Week. He serves on the Board of Directors of Migizi Communications, a technology and communications school serving inner-city Native-American youth. In November 1999, Warren was awarded the honor of being selected one of the Twin Cities Top 100 Volunteers by CityBusiness Magazine. Warren is past-president of the Twin Cities chapter of the International Television Association and is also an accredited and active member of the Communications Media Management Association, serving on their board and various committees since 1987. He is a Community Faculty member with Metropolitan State University, and an adjunct faculty for the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Business.
Jolly T. Holden, Ed.D., Marietta, GA
Dr. Holden was most recently Senior Projects Manager for Training and Development at StarBand Communications, Inc., where he developed the strategy and led the initiative on developing online training for a geographically dispersed workforce. Previously he held positions as the Chief Learning Strategist at Spacenet, Inc. and GE Spacenet and was the Executive Marketing Manager for Distance Learning at AT&T Tridom. For the past 12 years, he has been actively involved in researching and promoting distance learning throughout the federal government and corporate community. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the United States Distance Learning Assn. (USDLA) serving as Chairman Emeritus. Dr. Holden also is an Industry Fellow to Ball State University's Center for Information and Computer Sciences and serves on the board of The Education Coalition and the Federal Government Distance Learning Assn. of which he is a co-founder.
Maythee Kantar, Ph.D., Metropolitan State University, Minneapolis, MN
Maythee is Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication, Writing and the Arts at Metropolitan State University in the Twin Cities. She has developed academic programs at Metropolitan State in Professional Communication that emphasize corporate media communication, educational media and media literacy. Her research specialty is Children and the Media and the Use of Media in Education. She has received research grants from the National Association of Broadcasters and The Government of Canada and presented her research at international and national conferences.

Frank manages John Hancock's interactive satellite network. A long-time ITVA member, Frank has served as ITVA national vice president, New England regional vice president and Boston chapter president. He was instructor for the graduate-level course "Corporate Video Management" at Boston University's College of Communications. He is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the International Teleconferencing Association (ITCA).
Karen W. Lowman, Millersville, MD
Karen recently retired after a thirty-year career in education and broadcast and corporate communications. Initially a high school drama and English teacher, Karen moved from commercial broadcast TV to the corporate business arena, establishing the video department at Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. At her retirement, she was the Director of Management and Employee Communications at Constellation Energy Group, responsible for all print, video and electronic communications for Constellation and its various holdings, including the utility company. Karen has been an active participant in the International Television Association, serving various positions from local chapter president to national president and board member. She is a past recipient of the Chuck Webb Award. Karen also participates on numerous boards at her alma mater, Towson University, and volunteers at North Arundel Hospital.

Richard Skillman, Allied Vaughn, Orlando, FL
Richard is Vice President of Allied Vaughn, one of the nation's largest multi-media companies, and manages the sales for the 18 Allied Vaughn locations across the country. Richard, a 20+ year industry veteran, joined Allied Film and Video in 1979 and has held manufacturing, managerial and sales roles in Allied's facilities in Detroit and Orlando. Richard joined the ITVA in 1982 and has served as a Regional Vice President and Chapter President in Florida as well as being an active chapter board member for 12 years. Richard's role at Allied Vaughn involves him in many medias, Video, CD, DVD and the Internet, and he is active in many associations that support those technologies.
Lynn A. Yeazel, Scopus Network Technologies, San Diego, CA
Lynn is one of the pioneers of the corporate video profession. A founder of ITVA, he served as the organization's first president. His professional experience in marketing, training, and sales includes stints with leading edge technology companies such as IBM, Panasonic, and Tektronix. He was involved in the development of the optical LaserDisc, and is now Director of Sales for Scopus Network Technologies, which provides products and services that enable business to profit from the convergence of digital television and other data broadcasting and e-commerce systems.
Inez W. Wehrli, Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg, VA
Inez is a veteran of over 24 years in the nonprofit industry. As the volunteer Administrative Director of The Webb Foundation she is responsible for its general management, development activities, product fulfillment and public relations/promotion. During her nonprofit career she has been Conference Director, Membership Director, Festival Director and Governance Liaison for the International Television Association and Special Project Manager and Magazine Editor for the National Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association. She also served as President of IF Associates, Ltd., a consultant to nonprofits. Currently she is the Director of Administrative Services for Advancement and College Relations for Mary Washington College.
