I believe that a true Professional is involved in local and international community by being active as a member, leader, and mentor in professional organizations, local citizens groups, and international causes. It's a way of building a partnership society through networking—empowering yourself and others with the response ability to create a better world for every living being.

I have been an advisor for the Cultural Arts Council of Houston, the President and founder of the Houston Chapter of the Association for Humanistic Psychology (mid 1970s), Membership Chairman of the Motion Picture Council of Houston, Chairman of the Public Access Producers Board, member of the Houston Advertising Federation, President of the Houston Chapter of the Media Communications Association International/MCA-I (late 1980s), a Director on the international Board of MCA-I in the Communications Committee (2000-204), Chair of the Media Committee for Blueprint Houston, and a member of the Garden Oaks Civic Club of Houston.
